The harvesting season of the 2018-2019 crop is beginning in Brazil, the largest coffee producer in the world. c&c technicians worked together with farmer José Ribeiro Oliveira in the yield evaluation of coffee trees under different cover crops. “Of the cover crops I tested on my farm, I liked Brachiaria the best. It is easier to maintain and at the same time protects the soil from erosion and high temperature.”
