Our c&c team in Brazil developed a toolkit to foster climate resilience of coffee and to sensitize stakeholders of the coffee supply chain regarding the impacts of climate change. Providing women with the same resources as man includes the promotion of joint decision making as well as a stronger participation and integration of women into training on climate-smart agriculture (CSA) practices, management processes and structures in coffee farmer organizations.

#InternationalCoffeeDay - Women in Coffee.

Through c&c, Ester Mwaulezi - a coffee farmer from Mbeye (Tanzania) - learned about the benefits from energy saving cookstoves. Since she was linked to a retailer for such a stove, she has spent less time gathering wood which frees up time and allows her to participate in more training activities; for example on climate-smart agriculture practices or management process.
