Achievements

Since its founding in 2010, c&c has been working in seven regions worldwide and through the commitment of c&c members has supported more than 139,000 smallholder coffee farming households

c&c tools and knowledge are open to the public and have been utilized in various projects of coffee companies like those of International Coffee Partners (ICP), Tim Hortons or The J.M. Smucker Co. Smallholder families in these projects are now better equipped to cope with climate change challenges. They improved their food security, income, and coffee production.

c&c does not only work to improve on-farm practices.

We also address the role of women in the face of climate change and promote gender equality at household level, in communities and farmer organizations.

Household income and climate resilience of farming families have benefitted from balanced decision-making between men and women.

A variety of tools have been identified and validated through extensive research in collaboration with smallholder farmers in seven major coffee-producing regions. These tools are part of the c&c toolbox.
